Hydraulic Service for Seagoing Vessels in the Port of Rostock
The Port of Rostock is the largest German Baltic Sea port and a major hub for freight and ferry traffic to Scandinavia, the Baltic States and further east. Whether RoRo connections, bulk handling or shipyard operations – technical failures here lead to costly delays along the entire supply chain. That’s why Pokrandt provides a dedicated hydraulic service directly for the Port of Rostock (DERSK) – including express spare parts supply, on-site emergency supportand technical assistance.
As a certified Bosch Rexroth Repair Center, we understand the requirements of maritime hydraulics in the Baltic region. With over 4,000 parts available immediately, in-house test bench technology, and decades of industry experience, we keep your engine rooms operational – around the clock.
Our focus is on commercially operated seagoing vessels: from ferries and RoRo ships to tankers, bulk carriers, harbor tugs, feeder vessels, and support units. We ensure that your technology keeps pace with the rhythm of the port.

Hydraulic Service for Seagoing Vessels
As a certified Bosch Rexroth Repair Center, Pokrandt offers professional repair and replacement of axial piston units, radial piston motors, and hydraulic valves – always using original or equivalent components. Our unique pump test benches (three-circuit 390 kW, two-circuit 290 kW), motor test bench up to 1000 Nm, and ZF gearbox test stand ensure precise measurements, approvals, and maximum operational safety.
In addition, we perform refits of complete hydraulic units, carry out fault diagnostics directly on board, manage the safe removal and installation of entire systems, and, if required, monitor complete hydraulic systems. If individual components are no longer available, we develop custom solutions – from reclassification to the suitable selection of alternative components.
Services:
- Repair and replacement: axial piston units (pumps & motors), radial piston motors, and hydraulic valves
- Refits of hydraulic units
- On-site repair/fault diagnosis

Your Benefits with Pokrandt Hydraulics
Downtime doesn’t follow office hours – that’s why our hydraulic team is available around the clock, 365 days a year. Whether in port or at sea: we’re ready for emergency support, spare parts coordination, or technical consultation – to get your equipment up and running again, fast.
With our powerful three-circuit test bench (390 kW), we test complex Rexroth hydraulic pumps under realistic conditions – including simultaneous load simulation and detailed performance analysis. This ensures maximum safety and accuracy during repair and approval.
For two-circuit Rexroth units, we offer a precise diagnostic and testing platform with 290 kW output. Our test benches enable rapid commissioning after repair or replacement – including full documentation of all measurement data and performance values.
Our motor test bench allows for precise functional testing of hydraulic motors up to 1000 Nm torque. This ensures your drive units operate safely, reliably, and efficiently under high loads – just as required in maritime environments.
Whether at the quay, in dry dock, or during port layover: our service technicians come directly on board and analyze your hydraulic systems on site. This enables quick fault detection and resolution – including disassembly and reinstallation of defective components, and in-house repairs at Pokrandt upon request.
